The Design Of Circularly Polarized Cylindrical DRA for 5G Applications

Week 4 (FYP1) Date: 25/2/2019 Title: Project Discussion with Supervisor During this week i have gone and meet Dr Ismail to further discuss on the design of the antenna. after understanding the basic principle of the antenna design, Dr Ismail then briefed me on software that i can use to design the antenna. The software that was used in designing the antenna was CST software programmed specially for antenna design. This software lets antenna designer to design an antenna to their specific requirements before producing the prototype.

Week 2(FYP1) Date: 11/2/2019 Title: Project title Discussion with Supervisor After putting a lot of thought and research in the Project that i am going to do for my FYP1, i went back to see Dr Ismail to further discuss on the basic principle of antenna designing. Dr Ismail have taught me a lot in what i have to understand when i am designing the antenna. For example the shape i want to use, the material for the Dielectric Resonator, the size of the DR itself and so on. during the discussion we have decided to design the antenna for 5G application using a cylindrical DR . The aim of the antenna was so that we could use it for 5G application since we are moving into an era of super fast speed internet in which most of the utilities we used can be controlled by Internet.

Week 1(FYP1) Date: 7/2/2019 Title: FYP 1 First Briefing The first week of FYP 1 is mainly to discuss on how we should select supervisor for our project mainly the desired project that we would like to design or enhance. during this week of the briefing we were given the task to search for supervisors that suits the project that we would like to do. after doing an in depth research on the Lecturers that is available for FYP 1 in BMI, I have selected to be supervised by DR Mohamad Ismail Bin Sulaiman. The rason that i have selected him to supervise on my project was because he is one of the leading expert in Antenna Design here at BMI. Information abour Dr Mohamad Ismail Bin Sulaiman After meeting and discussing with Dr Ismail, i was asked to do some reading and research in regards to antenna designing. Since my major is not in antenna design i have to do an in depth research on how to design an antenna. 

Introduction  Assalamualaikum an a very good day to everyone. Let me introduce a little bit about myself. Im Mohammad Ikhwan Fadzli Bin Mohd Fadzil and a current student at UniKl British malaysian institute. I am currently in my final year, and as a final year student we have to undergo a course as known by student all around the world as Final Year Project .
