Week 7 (FYP1)

Week 7 (FYP1) Date: 20/3/2019 Title: Workshop on Introduction and Literature Review Writing A brief discussion on writing a thesis for chapter 1 ( introduction) and 2 ( literature review) of the thesis was held at TTL2 during this briefing the students was briefed on how to properly write the thesis and how to find articles in which to find from IEEE that can be used as a reference in regards to writing the thesis. The speaker for that day was Dr Imran and he have given us the ideas on how to write a good report and how to cite from articles to help us get information for writing the thesis. once we have understood on how to find and write the thesis we were able to write the thesis with full understanding.

Week 6 (FYP1)

Week 6 (FYP1) Date: 11/3/2019 Title: FYP meeting with supervisor During this meeting with Dr Ismail, he took me to the lab on Level 1 to meet both of his PhD students in which they will co supervise Dr Ismail in my design of the antenna. during the meeting with the Usman and Javed, they have taught me in fine details on how to properly use the CST software as mentioned earlier. With the knowledge of Dr Ismail and the help of his students to somewhat greater advance i was able to fully utilize the software and understand the basic specific principle of the design and how to simulate to obtain the results after the simulation was done.

Week 5 (FYP1)

Week 5 (FYP1) Date: 8/3/2019 Title: Title Registration via FYP UniKL Website After deciding on the title that i want to put as my FYP title. i went to see Dr Ismail to ask for his opinion on the title for the project. Dr Ismail comes up with the title The Design of Circularly Polarized Cylindrical DRA for 5G Applications. once we have confirmed on the title of the project Dr Ismail then submits the title of the project to the UniKL FYP website to confirm the project and the title. Once the title of the project is approved by the head of section then we can proceed to continue with the project.  Synopsis of Project:  The aim of this antenna design is to fulfill the requirements in designing an antenna that can be used for 5G application.
