Title: Project Discussion with Supervisor


After familiarizing myself with using the CST software i have made some simple design to make sure that i am good at using the software to design the antenna. With the help of Dr Ismail, Usman and Javed. I have come up with some simple design of the antenna with the cylindrical DR as the shape of the DR. With this also i have experimented with different height, diameter of the DR and a couple of material to be used as the DR just to see what changes it would make to the frequency band with the change of height, diameter and the relative permitivity of the DR.

Below here are a few examples of the simple design i have made.

Above is the first design that i have made for this antenna. The initial design and intention of drawing a simple design of the DR was to understand the designing part of the DR.
